This walk is intended as a comprehensive insight into the historical Blackcraig Lead Mines. Your guide is a local historian who is an authority on the history of Blackcraig.

Starting from the Multi Start Point (NX 450 646) walkers will explore the area between Stronord and the Bruntis Lochs. From the remaining clues on the ground an appreciation of the former importance of lead mining to the area will hopefully be gained.

Despite its grading as easy/moderate, it is essential that walkers wear appropriate footwear as the terrain is very rough in places.

There will be two departures on this walk - 1000hrs and 1400hrs

Book Now - Each walk is strictly limited to 10 walkers
