Walk 2.7 - TODDLER WALK - KIRROUGHTREE
Distance - 1.5km (1 mile) Walking Time 1 hours
Ascent - N/a
Difficulty Level - N/a

Kirroughtree Visitor Centre is an ideal haven for the whole family. The facilities, in particular the play area, are undoubtedly amongst the best in the area. Our Toddler walk is intended as an introduction to the Galloway Forest Park with the opportunity to see wildlife including red squirrels and a variety of birds. The video link to a red squirrel nest will no doubt be particularly popular.

The walk is a very level, but distinctly woodland walk, which ends at the adventure play area situated adjacent to the Visitor Centre.

This walk is intended for families with children aged up to 5 years of age.

There are no limits to the number of walkers on this walk but all children must be accompanied by an adult.
